Course Objectives
Learning Outcomes The students who succeeded in this course;
  • 1) Will be able to analyze the visual language of graphic design and apply it in a creative manner.
  • 2) Will be able to evaluate the compositional relationships of visual elements on a two-dimensional surface.
  • 3) Will be able to observe the relationship between pictorial elements and typography and apply it in a correct manner.
  • 4) Will be able to design semantically correct and understandable works in projects.
  • 5) Will be able to use Illustrator ve Photoshop on an advanced level in design works.
  • 6) Will be able to apply graphic design movements and daily cultural elements contemporary graphic design works.
  • To experiment with creative upper intermediate level graphic design projects using various visual media such as photography, typography and illustration; to focus on symbolism and semiology as part of developing a visual language;
